These questions are a bit below the belt. I'm not familiar with Miles Davis, know the name, but not into jazz. He seemed like a character and a very good musician.

God interviewers have always been really bad at actually asking musicians about their music. Really feels like this guy got handed a paper with bullet points about a guy he'd never heard of and then went into the interview. This guy fucking sucks lmao

Ben Chapman, the Phillies manager, was fired after the 1949 season. He passed away in Hoover, Alabama in 1993. Lee Handley, the third baseman, played his last season in 1947 for the Phillies. He passed away in 1970. On a side note, Tony Gwynn, who played for the Padres, sounds a lot like Jackie Robinson.

There are few who better embody pseudo intellectuals than religious leaders. These people have nothing but lame quips, platitudes and a placid demeanor going for them, and still, people are so absolutely brain dead that they follow them. This is such a classic hitchens "debate". What debate?

There were some missed offramps in this interview, opportunities to go down unexplored territory. For instance. "Do you feel old?" "Where?" That was an opportunity to ask," your mind, spirit, or body?" The answer to that question alone could have taken up the entire length of the interview. Smart, complicated people want to talk to people who 'get it.' If you miss the offramps while you're talking to them, they know you don't 'get it.'

History will note the murder weapon was a cheap Iver-Johnson .22 caliber cadet revolver. It was NOT an expensive model just a cheap practice revolver for cadets at a police academy. It is impossible to stop someone with a cheap handgun from killing a political leader at close range in a crowded public place. The best surgeons on the West Coast were unable to save Robert Kennedy's life after brain surgery to get out the bullet. RFK passed away the next day with serious damage to the brain just above the brain stem. Cheap handguns have some really expensive tragedies for our country. You do NOT replace political leaders of RFK's caliber and experience. 1968 was a tough terrible year for America with the heavy casualties of the Tet offensive, Khe Sahn, urban riots culminating the dual assassination of MLK and RFK. I don't think America ever really recovered from the trauma and shock of of 1968.

This list represents a fraction of the Black individuals who have contributed to American legislative history. Their presence and achievements continue to shape the nation's policies and inspire future generations. It's important to remember that this is just a snapshot of the rich and diverse history of Black representation in the US Congress and Senate. Many other remarkable individuals have served with distinction, and their stories deserve to be told and celebrated.
